 Steph Curry wants challenge flags in the NBA

On the football field, it’s part of the game to see coaches request an official challenge after questionable calls. It works, in part, because there’s natural breaks between plays where officials can stop and review calls.

紅旗規則(注一)是美式足球場的一部分，讓總教練對於有問題的吹判進行質疑 。

But what if you could throw a challenge flag in the NBA like coaches can in the NFL? Steph Curry, for one, would be all for it. At NBA 2K 15 Uncensored, an event to promote NBA 2K 15 moderated by Ernie Johnson, the Warriors guard said he would be all for it. “Obviously refs are human and they miss calls,” he said. “To be able to make sure they got the right one — maybe give the coach a little flag like they do in football and he gets two or three challenges a game to make sure they get the right call, especially in pivotal situations.”

When asked the same question at the event, James Harden and Kevin Durant said they wouldn’t want to see that rule. “To be honest, I wouldn’t like to see anything changed because I like how the game is played,” Durant said. “It’s not too much control by the coaches or refs or a player, I think it’s perfect how it is. I think if you give a guy — how can you tell if a guy is flopping a lot — if you give coach the right to challenge calls … it would take some purity out of the game I think.”

就我了解的解釋一下紅旗規則

這是一條NFL賽場上的規則

主要的功能是在於，當球隊的主教練對判決有疑慮時

只要球隊的暫停還沒用完時候，他們可以往場內丟擲這個紅旗子

讓裁判們再看一次重播畫面，看是否會更改他們的判決

一場比賽裡，一位總教練擁有兩次的挑戰機會

如果挑戰成功，便不會失去暫停。

如果挑戰失敗，則是去一次的暫停，

如果兩次都挑戰成功，則會擁有第三次挑戰的機會。
